Create a "memory burn" the first time you use your candle by burning it long enough to melt the entire surface. (About 3 hours for a 4oz candle, 5 hours for an 8oz candle, or 6 hours for a 16oz candle.) Blowing it out too early will force the candle to tunnel down the middle. Always keep wick trimmed to 1/8".
